If you have an account on SizLix Payroll and want your account and personal data permanently deleted from our systems, this page explains exactly how to request it and what happens.

How to request deletion

Choose any one of the methods below. Account deletion is irreversible.

  1. Email us: send a message to support@sizlix.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include the phone number you use to log in to the app so we can verify identity.
  2. From the dashboard:
    1. Sign in at payroll.sizlix.com.
    2. Open Settings.
    3. Go to Privacy & Data (DPDP 2023).
    4. Tap "Request Deletion" and confirm.

We verify the request against your registered phone number. Deletion is not automatic: your firm's admin and we review the request, and it is actioned within 30 days of the request, as the DPDP Act requires.

What we have to keep — and for how long

Indian law (Income Tax Act 1961 §44AA, GST law, the Companies Act) requires some payroll records to be retained for legal compliance, even after you request deletion. We keep only the absolute minimum to satisfy these rules:

Important: if your firm (the SizLix Payroll customer who employs you) requests a copy of legacy payroll records for tax filing, we will provide them with the pseudonymized records described above. Your personally-identifying fields (name, phone, email, face signatures) are NOT included in such exports.

Can I delete only some of my data without deleting my account?

Yes. You can request partial deletion (e.g. "delete only my face match data" or "delete my old leave history") via the same channels. See the SizLix Payroll Privacy Policy for the full list of partial-deletion options under Article 13 of the DPDP Act 2023.

If you're an employer (firm owner) deleting your firm's account

When a firm owner deletes their SizLix Payroll account, the entire firm is offboarded:

If a deletion request is rejected or you don't get a response within 7 days, write to support@sizlix.com with the subject "DPDP grievance". Per the DPDP Act 2023, you can also escalate to the Data Protection Board of India at https://www.meity.gov.in/.
